Urban Response

The design offers a well-proportioned building designed to promote interaction and accommodate the diversity of urban life for the residents and the neighbours.

Place Making

The area around the flats is a mixture of soft and hard landscaping. The soft landscaping proposals enable the residents to be contained within a secure environment, but also have the freedom to experience gardening.

The Support Unit is built in line with NHBC, Housing for Varying Needs (HVN) and full barrier free standards.

Sustainability

The flats have been orientated with large south/west facing windows in order to maximise solar gain.

Minimal use of hard landscaping and emphasis on deciduous trees and wildflower areas enhance visual appearance as well as optimise a sustainable environment.
